This policy explains what personal information Fulify collects through fulify.io, why, who we share it with and the choices you have.
Who we are
Fulify is a trading name of JM Online Retail Services Ltd ("Fulify", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 08409794. Our registered office is 7a High Street, Barnet EN5 5UE, United Kingdom, and our office is at 82 Great Eastern Street, London EC2A 3JF, United Kingdom.
We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
What we collect and why
When you request a demo
First name, last name, work email, company, store URL, ecommerce platform, approximate number of products and anything you choose to tell us about what you'd like to cover.
We use this to arrange and prepare for your demo and to follow up about Fulify. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask about our product, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
When you request a free trial or an account
Full name, work email, company, store URL, approximate number of products and the plan you're interested in.
We use this to set up your Fulify account and send you an invitation to log in. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you.
When you join the Shopify waitlist or subscribe to the newsletter
Your email address, and a record of what you agreed to and when.
We use this to email you when the Shopify integration launches (waitlist) or when we publish new articles (newsletter). Legal basis: your consent. Newsletter sign-ups are confirmed by email before we send anything. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
Optional product news
The demo and trial forms include an optional, unticked box to receive occasional product news. We only send these if you tick it. Legal basis: your consent.
Information collected automatically
- Security and spam prevention: when you submit a form we process your IP address and technical signals about your browser through Cloudflare Turnstile, and we limit how often a form can be sent from one address. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping our forms and services secure.
- Analytics, only if you accept: if you click "Accept analytics" we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how people arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device. If you reject or ignore the banner, Google Analytics does not load. Legal basis: your consent.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to run and protect the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
| Cookie | Purpose | Set when | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| fulify_consent | Remembers your analytics choice | You accept or reject analytics | 6 months |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Only after you accept analytics | Up to 2 years |
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Rejecting analytics after accepting deletes the Google Analytics cookies.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process personal information on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it:
| Provider | What they do for us | Location |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | Stores contacts and form submissions; sends subscription confirmation emails | EU data centre |
| Resend | Sends emails about your request | United States |
| Vercel | Hosts the website | United States and global edge network |
| Cloudflare | Spam and bot protection (Turnstile) | Global |
| Analytics, only with your consent | United States | |
| Sanity | Hosts the website's content (no form data is stored there) | Not applicable, no personal data stored |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business sale or reorganisation, in which case the buyer would be bound by this policy.
International transfers
Some providers process information outside the UK and European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension where the provider is certified) or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum, as set out in each provider's data processing terms.
How long we keep it
- Demo and trial requests: as long as we're in discussion with you, then up to 24 months from our last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Newsletter and waitlist: until you unsubscribe. We keep a record of the opt-out so we don't email you again.
- Analytics: Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
- Server and security logs: kept for a short period, typically up to 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it).
To make a request, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.
UK and EU: if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority. We'd appreciate the chance to resolve it first.
United States: residents of California and other states with privacy laws have rights to know, access, correct and delete personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can exercise your rights by emailing [email protected], and we won't treat you differently for doing so.
Security
We protect personal information with encryption in transit, access controls and providers that meet recognised security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the regulator of a breach where the law requires.
Children
fulify.io is for businesses and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell people we have a relationship with, for example by email.
